Take Me To The Tropics Pitaya Bowl

It's time to take a step away from the repetitive a├žai bowl and bring some dragon fruit (or pitaya) into your life with this bright smoothie bowl!
  • 2 frozen pitaya packs
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ⅓ cup frozen greens (spinach and kale)
  • For topping:
  • Banana slices
  • Raspberries
  • ¼ cup favorite granola (I use Love Grown Foods or Purely Elizabeth)
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp coconut butter
  1. Combine your frozen fruit (including pitaya packets) with milk and greens into a high-speed blender. Begin your blender on slow and then gradually turn it to a higher speed.
  2. Spoon into a bowl and set into freezer for 10-15 minutes to harden up a bit just in case it is liquidy at all.
  3. Take out of the freezer, top with your selected toppings and face plant! :)
